globus-proxy-utils software package provides Globus Toolkit - Globus GSI Proxy Utility Programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install globus-proxy-utils
globus-proxy-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the globus-proxy-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep globus-proxy-utils *
You will get with globus-proxy-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
